How To Get More Opt-Ins To Your Email List

If you have a big enough list you can write your own ticket.

Building a bigger email list is easy once you know the fundamentals. From what I can see, most website owners are almost clueless. Their websites do not encourage opt-ins.

Let me show you a basic way to get more prospects. I'll give you an example you can swipe.

The first thing is this: People will join a list they believe will be valuable. We all get too much email. No one wants more. For this reason, people are picky as to which lists they join online. Information is the best "hook" to use to get people onto your list.

My suggestion is give them free info that solves a problem they have. The info can be a free PDF, MP3 audio or video.

That's how you deliver value.

Second, make it easy to join your email list. All you need is the prospect's email address. And maybe their first name. That's it. The more info you require the lower the response. Just ask for the basics. The email address is what you're really after anyway.

Finally, include a free subscription to an ezine as part of your offer. In other words, the prospect opts-in to get the free whatever. They also get your free ezine. This way you can keep in contact with them. Very important.
