I was recently asked the following question; "I am having difficulties finding potential JV partners and affiliates online for my industry because it is primarily offline. Do you have any suggestions"? I thought the answer I gave would be very useful to more than just the person who asked it. That's why I'm sharing it with you today.
When you find offline customers, you are in the lucky position to assist them go online. This task is very lucrative for an active offline marketer.
Bringing offline customers online is a great opportunity and if you are an offline marketer, your offer could be something like this, "I can take all the dirty work - I will launch an online campaign and I will teach the customers about this and this. Would you like in exchange to be a guest of mine? You can add some tips or something like that."
The real benefit for your partners is that they can become your affiliates and you will pay them a commission for their sales.
Another cute idea for a partnership is to get a list of their offline customers and start a mail campaign (of course, you will pay for the campaign). You will be targeting offline customers, who are easy to bring online via your partner's affiliate links. You can drive them online for a teleseminar or something like that.
That is a really successful way that we have utilized in the past because most joint ventures do not come to the partner with a proposal that really makes it attractive and a win-win. If you do that, you are saying, "Look, I'm willing to pay for the cost to market to your list so it cost you nothing and we'll drive everybody through your affiliate link so that anybody who does register you are going to gain momentarily."
As you see, the above arrangement is of mutual benefit - your partner makes money as an affiliate, you get a list of people (and their emails), who are interested in a product you market.
It will help them to see that there is an online opportunity and that would work well for you down the road if they are interested in setting up any type of an affiliate arrangement. - 16747
