Sharing the Homemade Cozy in Colorado

By Nate Weaver

Isn't it nice to curl up on the couch with your favorite hand-knitted sweater, sipping hot cocoa in a hand-painted mug with a crocheted cozy and eating home-baked cookies from an old family recipe to go with that? It's wonderful to benefit from your own little hobbies, but why not spread that comfort around? Surely someone would love to be all cozy in a hand-knitted sweater and eating home-baked cookies as well. A definite place to showcase your work would be in a crafts and trade fair. Besides sharing your work, you could be earning a little extra.

But, how do you begin to spread the homemade joy? You'll need to find out how to start. What fairs and festivals are open for you to join or when would the next one be held so you could have enough time to prepare? To get those questions answered, you would need a reliable source of information.

People are definitely one source of that information. You would need to network efficiently with different people to get this done, though. And that requires legwork and much hassle. What if you can't afford to take pains to do that?

There are databases of all crafts and trade fairs and festivals for every state that you could use. A handy calendar for events in Colorado is also available for your convenience.

Definitely, you would be able to share the comfort you get from the things you make for yourself with others. And by doing that simple act of sharing, you would be able to earn a little extra. Wouldn't that be a wonderful way of taking your hobby to the next level? You could even be known around Colorado for what you do.

If you join a service that keeps you updated on all these fairs and festivals happening in Colorado you have an easier time getting ready for any new fairs and festivals you would plan to share your works in. You could plan how much you could produce in the time given to you and you wouldn't have to rush much if you plan well enough. The calendar will surely help you with that. It would be wonderful to take that hobby of yours a step further and make it a little business in the process. - 16747
