Are You Looking For Diamond Jewelry?

By Don Pedro

All the juicy properties of diamond collectively make it an important industrial and scientific material. It is so unique that people would pay a lot of money to own it and show it off. Now you know why it is perhaps the richest material that is usable for jewelry.

The way into a woman's heart is to get her a diamond rock on a ring. Or you could get her a necklace of top quality diamonds that sparkle like the stars in the sky. No, brighter. The kiss you get will probably be the best you have had since you asked her to marry you!

1800 to 2200F in the earth's crust works with pressure you can't imagine to form diamond. As a matter of fact, the stones still do not form until they have been in these conditions for a few years. No wonder they are so indestructible.

Diamonds take numberless years to form at the very debts of the earth. They are organic matter that have decomposed and reformed to form perfect pieces. This perfection, in jewel form, is what we all pay great monies to own because it is so beautiful.

The best things in life are free, some say. And in a sense they are, until one man gets to it and puts a price upon it. Diamonds are free for whoever finds them first, and then they cost a fortune, prize for the highest bidder.

You don't want to be left alone in a room with a diamond; the temptation is too strong and unfair. You could be all pure and holy, but at the very least you would desire to touch the flawless stone. And from that moment, you might never want to rest until you own it - legally or no.

If you ever had a diamond and lost it, you would probably drive yourself crazy till you found it. It is not some much the amount of money you spent purchasing the stone, it is the joy of owning something so beautiful and them being deprived of it. Imagine what it is like when people get robbed of such stones. They'd be beside themselves with anxiety.

Sometimes you feel a kinship with mother earth when you wear diamond jewelry on your person. Knowing that on your body lies a piece of this world that is as old, perhaps as the world itself, it makes you feel like a king. And perhaps you are, if not you will not have that stone on you.

Would you believe this? Some diamonds are actually thought to have an extraterrestrial origin. They are the black variety of the priceless stones, known as carbonados. I suppose they are called diamond because they have certain similar characteristics, but I doubt they are so much used as gems. - 16747
